Project 1: Avatars - 2D
We have been researching the use of Avatars to allow students to have a virtual presence on our blog. Vokis is one way, however we wanted to find a more immediate solution for pupils to add their identity to any text or other work input on the blog. We discovered Laura Yr 10 Suzi Yr 10
In fact the MFL department went Avatar mad and many a hilarious moment was spent as the staff created their own...

Blog safe: We suggest that students use made up names only and do not disclose any personal or contact details.
Photos: In accordance with parental permission forms we will only use photos or videos of pupils without accompanying names and vice versa. If there is anything on this site which you wish to be removed, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Hardman. Pupils are encouraged to create their own avatars as an alternative when wanting to personalise an entry.
Please note that we have just changed the GCSE exam board from OCR to Edexcel. Edexcel have just replaced their old GCSE qualification with a new suite of GCSE's from September 2009. For this reason there are no past papers for this current style of GCSE exam paper. However, please see each language section below for links to Edexcel's old style past papers (pre 2009) and for our previous exam board OCR, both of which will provide good practice in the target language regardless of question format. Pupils will be given further guidance as to the new format of GCSE questions during lesson time.
